The Mystery Blogger Award

So this is my first nomination and I’m new to the WordPress community.

I was nominated by  I just discovered her blog and I wish I could nominate her again. She is a talented writer who knows how difficult it is to put yourself out there. Thank you for the push, I really appreciate it!

About The Award:

This is an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. They are one of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging, and they do it with so much love and passion.

As part of the nomination process, I was given five questions to answer.

1: What film best describes your life?

There are a lot of films sequences that would describe my life. But recently I’ve been relating to the series “Friends”.

2: Which pet do you prefer? Cats? Dogs? Reptiles? Why?

I have seven budgies and a canary. I love cats and dogs but sadly I’m allergic to cats. I’m not too fond of reptiles. I’m obsessed with birds they are so smart and they continue to amaze me every day.

3: Why did you decide to become a writer?

It’s always been a dream of mine to become a writer but that dream got buried somehow. A few years ago, I wrote my way out of grief and then I stopped writing. I thought that was it for me, but each time someone would ask me to help them with their writing  I felt I could always take that piece of writing further. Two years ago, when my grandfather was dying I made a decision out of heartbreak to write a short story.

Surprisingly, I couldn’t stop and this short story continued into a novel that I’m still working on. I lost another two close relatives in less than a year and their losses fueled my writing to go further. There were moments when I hit walls and wanted to quit. But then some kind of opportunity would come my way and I’d keep going.  It’s a magical experience especially if you have the courage to dig deeper into it with the intensity and all. It’s been a blessing to write as an outlet because many beautiful things can come from it.

4: What do you want to achieve as a writer?

I love to learn everything about writers, why they write and everything there is to know about what inspired them. I’m still learning a lot, I would love for my novel to be published one day.

5: What are your pet peeves?

Lately, It’s been one-sided conversations. The kind that people always tell you what’s bothering them but they don’t bother to listen when you have something to say.

6: If this world will end now, what are your last words?

I did my best!

Thank you Cynthia for the nomination and hope you enjoyed reading this.

    1. Then tell me is it a writer’s habit to listen to people and understand them? I feel so bad if I ever tell someone I’m busy talk to me later. I could never do that. LOL

It’s nice to read fresh opinions that’s one of the reasons I wanted to blog ,to see how stranger would react to my writing. I’ve surrendered to the idea that the novel will take time, I made a lot of mistakes before. I’m learning to trust the process. I’m hoping it can go out there one day. Nice to meet you Stephanie 😀 Keep writing!
