Safe haven

She wished she had the power to throw her anger away, she wished her heart wouldn’t shake from the pain. If only she could focus on what should be saved, she’d only save the wonderful things her loved ones had done. She’d save the way they smiled despite their immense pain. She’d save each morning she was met by their glowing smiles. She’d save them from death un-hesitantly and never let them go. As much as her heart ached for them she knew it was unfair to watch them suffer. So she visualized a fence surrounding the gigantic hole in her heart and from that space erupted un-conditional love. She soon turned into a safe haven where all her loved one’s cherished smiles and memories would forever remain.
