3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge / Day 1

Thank you Ragazza Triste for the nomination. It’s so kind of you to tag me each time in these posts, I enjoyed reading your challenge. You are such a talented and sweet writer and I can’t thank you enough for encouraging me to blog. I’m more active here because of you.

Thank you Reina for nominating me too. I was going to nominate you here, I am looking forward to read your favorite quotes.

Since I’m new here, I think Stephanie has nominated almost everybody I know. If anyone would like to participate in this challenge in the next two days please comment below.

• Thank the person who nominated you.

• Post a quote for three consecutive days (1 quote for each day).

• Nominate 3 different bloggers for each day.

“I’m here, I said, and it felt shockingly comforting, those words. When I’m panicked, I say them aloud to myself. I’m here. I don’t usually feel that I am. I feel like a warm gust of wind could exhale my way and I’d be disappeared forever, not even a sliver of fingernail left behind. On some days, I find this thought calming; on others it chills me.”

― Gillian FlynnSharp Objects

I’ve been obsessed with this quote for a while now, mainly because I love simplicity in writing and I love how deep it hits you. I recently read this novel and Gillian Flynn’s style amazed me. It gives me goosebumps each time I read it.

When I think I’ve put out too much in my writing and begin criticizing myself, this quote gets me through writer’s block.  It also reminds me to keep writing even when it feels like I’m repeating myself or digging deep into emotions.

My nominees are:

Feel free to share your favorite quotes in the comments below. Also, if you want to participate in the next few days let me know. Thank you for reading.
