For my day 2 quotes challenge I’d like to share this 😀
I don’t know if there are enough words to describe the amount of sentiment and love I have for this quote. I watched this movie “If Only” in 2005 during my scriptwriting class, we were supposed to explain each part of the movie. Sadly, I had just gone through a sudden loss and as a teenager, I thought the worst thing in the world was to write or even mention this loss. Learning that heartbreak can be turned into something beautiful inspired me to start writing. The movie itself helped me get over my guilt of not saying goodbye to my late aunt before she passed away.
I’ve repeated this quote a lot in the past two years, that it’s actually my mantra “Death doesn’t put an end to love.” It’s a reminder that I’m allowed to mention and love the people who have passed away. It also reminds me that I am still loved.
What if you had the chance to re-live one day with someone you lost? If you had the chance to explain to them the void they left in your life? What would you say?

I remember you telling me how much you love this film. I haven’t seen it, I think I did, years ago but I can’t remember. Thank you for the tag. 🙂
