I didn’t forget

Sixteen years ago, my late aunt booked concert tickets for our favorite singer. She let me guess for weeks what the surprise was, and the magic surrounding this event was beautiful. She was excited to be there with me and excited that she had booked the tickets so close to her birthday. Before she passed away she told few relatives that she was hoping I won’t forget that day… Her last birthday on earth was incredibly special and to know that she went through all this trouble to keep up with my teen interests is simply remarkable. So, Mona, I didn’t forget…I’m remarkably blessed to have you as my angel always lifting me up and lighting my path. The love and memories we share together are the lifelong treasures that I’ll carry for the rest of my life. I am blessed that you’re my Godmother.♥ Happy Early Birthday my angel…I will always love you♥

It’s things like these that are unforgettable in a persons life. It’s not the material things, it’s the moments that are remembered. These special concerts that are attended, so that when you hear a certain song, that memory automatically kicks in. Wonderful post and a beautiful moment lovely.🌹🌹

    1. After my aunt passed away the singer knew about her from the internet so she contacted me and her questions about my aunt were the best tribute ever. The singer also spoke about my aunt on T.V ♥ It was beautiful to have that magic continue years after my aunt passed away.

And having memories like that live on never dies, such a touching post. Love how you write with your heart, you’re such a strong individual and for the singer to do that just shows great class and heart as well. Unforgettable.🌹🌹
