There was this steep valley she had to walk through, and it froze her. She reached out wishing she’d get through to someone but nobody was there. She screamed but her voice echoed back to her, sounding broken, lonesome and sad.
She picked up one candle, lit it and placed it on her footpath making sure to move forward from that spot. It was a little brighter than before, but nothing had profoundly changed, the path ahead was still dark. Her heart urged her to continue, and it whispered promises that it wasn’t over yet.
She never understood the reason why she lit these candles. Or why she had to walk alone, until one day she gazed down into her valley and found a glittering trail of all the dark places she had been. Her valley was glowing with love. So she rested proudly on the top of her mountain, lit another candle and moved forward.
