People go through a lot and it’s not always one situation at a time. We can hurt immensely by being too hard on ourselves and it starts with the way we judge our downfalls.
Sometimes we feel so numb when it’s all happening at once and we want to hide from the world. We feel we’ve been cut deeply beyond repair and we carry these bruises around everywhere we go.
Sometimes we get angry and we take it on our health while we plant a smile on our faces. We shut off for a while and continue our lives on robot mode just doing the things we routinely do to get by.
So there isn’t always a chance to stare our tribulations in the face, and with everything new that goes on, we don’t always get to recover quickly from our past.
I found the pressure lessens when we accept this burden will stay for a while. When we admit we aren’t having the best days of our lives, we try harder to understand this new version of ourselves.
If we accept all this our scars will display the power of faith and perseverance.

Your words make me think of the saying “when it rains, it pours”. Sometimes so much is happening at once, we just sort of go numb, until we realize the pain needs to flow out. You described that feeling perfectly, Z. Beautiful thought! ❤️

Thank you…I really had to push it out because it was difficult to describe. Sometimes you’ve got to do your best with what you have even if the situation is bad. Then one day you find that you healed without even making an effort for it.
😊😊😊 Can we be grateful for a second for the serious comments before we both go crazy?? 🤪🤪

Omg! I was just about to say “Look, sis! We’re having a serious moment!” … Looks like that’s not gonna happen, huh? LOL! 😂😜

Hmmm. For some of us, it’s hard to ignore the pain of the past, yes, over the years, they will become just a memory, just a scar that’ll sting from time to time, but you know, it’s always gonna be there, and you’re never the same.

Sometimes you shouldn’t stay the same, circumstances push us to change and they make us realize what we’ve been doing wrong…you just have to accept the change and work around it until you’re accustomed to it!
