Desperation.

Your absence has left me broken and lost,
Desperate to find my shattered pieces,
In order to mend them together.
But what if I’m not meant to be mended?

Desperation makes me rush to find my old confident self,

I fear that I’ve lost her forever,
And no matter how much I search,

I just can’t find her.

What if this is how it’s supposed to be?
Maybe the gaps are meant to be there,

To expose a hidden part of me to the world.

Maybe they’re supposed to be a portal for memories,
To be accepted, loved and embraced.

      3. Well, I guess making you cry is sort of a heartfelt spiritual thank you and I am so happy you honored me and my words with such a gift. On the other hand your words reached out to my heart and touched me too, hence my misting up with deep appreciation that my words touched your heart from my far away place to where you are!!
        Blessings to you, My Dear!!

      4. It certainly is a heartfelt spiritual thank you. It’s strange how experiences may vary but the emotions are expressed in a similar way.

Thanks for sharing your talent with me and looking forward to read more.
        Blessings to you too.
