I Write Because…

I write because I know what it’s like to be invisible,
And to feel hurt and alone.

I write because it’s my way of handling disappointments,
And to face this world one heartache at a time.

I write to find true love and connection.
And to find a common ground between me and others.

I write because I know what it’s like to feel alone in the middle of your storms

I write when my world is dark so I can see the brighter side of things,
And there’s a lot that I can’t say out loud.

I write because
I can create a new world in an instant.

I write to escape all the negativity that surrounds me in the world,
And it’s something nobody can ever take from me.

I write because I’ve lost a lot of people in the past four years,
And maybe this is my unique way to tell them how much I love them.

Hope you all enjoyed this little post. I’d love to hear from you now, Why do you write?/ What made you start writing?
Looking forward to read all your comments ♥ Stay safe.

Beautiful reasons to write lovely and you can find true love and connections through writing and your reasons for doing this craft is amazing. I also share similar reasons for writing also!❤️
I write to escape also, writing takes me wherever I want to go and allows me to be whoever I want to be, just as reading does.
I write for expression, to spill your feelings onto paper and be able to come back and read them or to elicit feelings from others who read them is a wonderful feeling indeed.
I write for the love of writing, doing something you love gives you a euphoric feeling regardless of the situation around you.
I write to communicate not only with myself, but with others as well because the way you write helps build common ground and bonds with others by the way they write. They may share similar styles.
I also write to learn and better myself because writing by myself helps me learn more about myself. Reading my feelings teaches me the lessons I need to learn on handling things because we write what we experience.
I always say A lesson learned is a lesson earned! I wrote that.😉

I write because it is an escape and it calms me down. Also because I want to be able to remember certain things 5 to 10 years from now so my writing helps paint a picture from my memory just in case I forget

I started writing as a child and love painting pictures with words. It’s easier to express all the emotions and context in the written word. Elaboration is more easily received than in a verbal conversation. I love being able to take the time to find the right words to express exactly what I want say, to recreate the experience for others. I love the way you can drop into a world not your own and feel it like it is. I love, as you said, the connection to others. Enjoyed your post…so relatable!!
