I See Them

I held onto you as long as I could,
And maybe it was my fault for making excuses,
For the way that you behaved.

I held on because I loved you,
I engaged with your immaturity,
And your lack of support.

When things got tough ,
You ran in the opposite direction,
And stood on the wrong side,
Which hurt me in many ways.

It’s like taking that deep inhale,
And holding that breath until you suffocate.

Now that your true intentions have uncovered,
I see them!

I see the direction you’ve chosen,
And I’m ready to exhale.
I’m ready to let go.

As hard as letting go is lovely, realizing that breathing again feels so much better. What’s the use of taking swimming lessons when you’re chained underwater, you can’t save yourself. Strength to break away and surface to see the light is the witness to a new beginning. Walk with those who add positivity to your path.🌹

    1. Letting go is so hard, but the words I heard broke my heart. I really can’t forgive what was said, it was hurtful and cruel.
It’s clear now what their intentions were… So time to let go and search for positivity ♥

I’m happy that I was able to let some of the tension out here that made me feel better.

Love this..”What’s the use of taking swimming lessons when you’re chained underwater, you can’t save yourself.”

It’s like they say lovely, “The heart must be broken before it can be opened”, and the way you are now shows your strength, heart and nature. Whatever was said was just a reflection of how they felt about themselves, what people say behind your back doesn’t matter, they are behind you for a reason because you’re to good for them and they saw that.❤️. You want to find positivity, simply look in the mirror😉. You are a gift to blogosphere and everyone here.🌹
I’m glad you loved my quote, maybe I’ll get it patented..lol. But you can use it whenever you want because you inspired it. Moving forward is what matters, because there’s always a rainbow after the storm.🌈

You’re to kind lovely and I’m sorry for whatever you had to see, you didn’t deserve it but you will bounce back because of who and how you are. I guess my comments are patten worthy at times😁, they are inspired by awesome people.🌹

      4. Love the blogoshphere and your patten worthy comments make my day♥ Also grateful for all the support 😀
It was just hurtful because all this came at a time when we should be grieving my grandmother.
However, starting to bounce back, music blasting loud and setting new intentions this week.
I gained a new perspective by writing it out and will continue to allow all this stress to come out fully.
Thanks for the support, I really appreciate it.

And your wonderful writings and amazing heart is loved here as well.❤️
At times like that is when strength is needed and gained and negativity should be out of site and out of mind. Bouncing back is the main objective and writing shows your power that you are handling things very well lovely.🌹. Opening new eyes after having them closed with grief does give you new perspective for the stress to come out. You’re wonderful.🌹
